So Christmas is over and I should be getting a little reprieve from snowmen. Don't get me wrong, I like making the little guys, but I've made plenty in the last couple of months. So, onto something new and different...I've had some requests for animals (see prior blog entries) and my latest is this little hippo. My first book of children's poetry was titled 'There's a Hippo in my Bathtub' (still available online or through me!) and I've had some people asking "Where's the hippo now?", so here he/she is ...

It's been a while, but not due to being lazy (...this time!). I've been hard at work trying to get all of those last minute Xmas orders done. Along the way, I've managed to sneak in some potential 'spring line' pieces. They were a nice, fun break from snowmen and santas....

Here they are, still more prototypes than final product. Please let me know what you think...

More commisioned pieces...

It's always a nice little break from making the more traditional snowmen, santas, and what not, when people commission different pieces. Here are some pictures of a few of those.

In no particular order, there's a sheep, a Christmas mouse, and a seasonally confused pumpkin/snowman. Enjoy...

Here's some more new stuff....I've been doing the snowmen individually, but here is the first attempt at connecting two of them. Done on a whim, I was making 2 snowmen for a recently married couple for their first Christmas together and the thought hit me to have them holding hands. I think it turned out rather well. Let me know what you think...
