My Halloween spirit moved on to some boxes....Halloween Keepsake boxes. My artistic ADD dictated that it was time to try something new, so why not shove a box under a ghost or pumpkin?? Enjoy!

My clay hobby has become a hit. Want to know what project(s)I've been up to? What I might be doing next? What I'm doing now? Pop on in and see for yourself.
great idea! I think these will do well
ReplyDeleteThose triangular boxes are cool. The candy corn on top is a great idea.
ReplyDeleteThanks Heidi and Brian. Just picked up a couple more bigger boxes, so we'll see how those turn out!
ReplyDeleteFantastic idea! I LOVE that candy corn!! What a hoot!
ReplyDeleteThanks Marlene!! I love candy corn!
ReplyDeleteYou can even advertise them as "Candy" boxes and show some with candy in them. Since you painted the inside you may want to put some type of cloth or something inside then the candy? Just a thought Maybe write Trick or Treat on it? I still haven't gotten around to sculpt but I would sure like to make a cute little box like this too!
ReplyDeleteThanks Heidi, that's a great idea. I'll have to pick some candy corn up at the store. I was wondering about the writing on the box - wasn't sure if I could pull it off neatly enough with the paintbrush, so I left it off. It would probably look better with some. Love the suggestions, thanks again!!
ReplyDeleteYou can always buy a stamp or even those rub on letters would work for the lettering. Hmmm which gives me and Idea, I can probably stamp my images on some boxes and color them, I swear sometimes my mind never stops thinking lol.
ReplyDeleteI was actually just looking for stamps and the rub off letters just yesterday at Hobby Lobby (great minds think alike!). Haven't found just the right one yet, but I'm still looking. My mind never stops either, and hopefully never will. How boring would that get?! Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I'll let you know if I find the right one!
